Nara Cultural Day Tour

Touch a National Treasure Buddha, Make Somen, and Create Yoshino Cedar Crafts

What You'll Experience

Join a one-day tour from Nara City where you can touch a National Treasure Buddha, make somen noodles, and craft with Yoshino cedar — all in one unforgettable day.

Experiences

Touch the feet of the National Treasure Buddhist statue

At Hase-dera, one of Nara’s most sacred temples, you can touch the feet of the hidden Eleven-Faced Kannon — a rare opportunity to connect with a National Treasure statue.

Somen-Making Experience & Lunch

At Miwa Yamakatsu Seimen, make somen noodles together, enjoy them for lunch, and take home what you’ve made — plus receive a souvenir as a memento of this rare “fresh noodle” experience.

Yoshino Cedar Woodcraft Workshop

At Kobo Kien, discover Yoshino cedar craftsmanship as you make your own pair of chopsticks and a small xylophone from this fine local wood.
